Certified Flight Instructor Instrument
Being a CFII allows you to instruct students working on an instrument rating. Becoming a CFII will take your teaching to the next level. It gives you more experience and a wider range of students that you are capable of instructing.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating
- Be able to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Obtain at least a current third-class medical certificate
- Receive required training per FAA regulations
- Pass a knowledge test as well as the practical test
